I think subconciously and in a very oddly juxtapositioned way, the white man is made out to be a backwards, evil, Mexican killing fuckhead. And, if you fuck with the "Mexican," you will be in trouble. Yes, framing it in a "grindhouse" film style makes it "appear" as though the director (a Mexican) is poking fun at both Mexicans and Whites equally, but in reality, I think it makes Whitey look evil for not allowing the illegal Mexican to cross the border, unless we want to exploit them. And, it shows that if fucked with, the Mexican will act in a very violent way to get back at Whitey. And, uh, this is exactly what they are doing in reality. I have not seen the film in its entirety, but I would love to as I love a good exploitation film, whatever genre. And, the cast also reflects the oddity of the film. Combining Lindsey Lohan and Robert Dinero, is in itself a fucking HOOT.
To say this film will have zero affect on the current and very profound problem we are experiencing in the Southwest with illegal immigration is irresponsible. Of course it will. How and why, I don't know. But, it will. Otherwise, why make such a film... for fun? Can you imagine if a White man made this? Like Theo Van Gough, he would be fucking shot in the skull.

Machette
Wrong theme, wrong side of the law. Lots of leberal actors in it, I for one will not pay money to see it.
Looks like a GREAT, cheesy Grindhouse Film.
